Revive cellphone batteries from Deep Sleep
Have a dead Lithium Ion battery that doesn't work? It might be in Deep Sleep. Find out how to bring it back to life.
Cellphone Battery. I should note that this is not testing the charge under load and therefore not an accurate reading of a batteries current charge.

I was attempting my first vlog but I messed up the mic and never plugged it in correctly. On top of that, my recorder crashed and I lost most of the video. Bleh, first try i guess..
Hi! I want to try this but I’m worried about shocking myself since the wires are bare, is that something I need to worry about?
I love you brother, revived 3 old galaxy phones to get some food on the plates again 🙏
Want it shook you yes or no
Thank you very much
You're tye best bro thanks
thank you for sharing this video, it was very helpful as I revived my battery on phone!
Great to hear, glad it was helpful!
Inasmuch as you made an 8 minute video, why didn't you add 10 seconds to show just how much charge the battery had i.e. 50%, 80%, 100%? Why not? What do you have to hide?
Hello. I tried this but did not work. Tried with 3 different cables but the battery is still dead. Tried for about 2 minutes. Should i try to keep the cables longer on the battery ?
This is truly exceptional. I discovered similar material, and it was awe-inspiring. "Better Sleep Better Life" by William Brook
It worked for me too.. Samsung galaxy s4 mini revived successfully. ❤❤❤❤❤
Super video😊
You are the best teacher out there. This trick works like magic, thank you for sharing. God bless you
THIS ACTUALLY WORKED!!! Kept the wires on the battery for like 30s and then it started charging!!!
This works even after 8 years My airpods got new life
can i use the power supply ?
The human BMS is real…
Muy útil. No lo habría imaginado.
i use a lighter for small wires, good stuff!
Fixed my battery with this instruction!
Thank you so much!
Very expensive way... Their is cheaper way too
Would this work on tablet and laptop batteries
Just revived my old Galaxy S3 with this trick. Thank you so much!
Thank you James👌
Does it work for batteries for old Kindle models? I will check and give feedback.
Thank you but nothing is working at all :(
I rediscovered an HTC phone I stopped using around 2016. Plugged it in for the first time in six years, and the screen would cycle from the dead battery icon, to charging, to shutting off. That's what brought me here. But, after about 15-20 minutes plugged into a standard charger, the phone is now charging. The battery is obviously wrecked, because it reached 52% in about six minutes. I haven't tried turning it on just yet, and my gut tells me I won't make it to the lock screen. But wish me luck. A lot has changed since I tossed it in a box and forgot. The data I left on this phone meant nothing at the time, but it would be such a blessing if I could see it again today.
I miss phones with (user) swappable batteries
i need one
So i have a mac book pro it was like 15 percent i got a chrger of amazonn which has been working fine untill recently basscially once i put the charger in my laptop tutned blavk conventely my charger has the same port as my galaxy a10 so i put it in there and my phone was at atounf 70 or 60 as soon as i plugged it in it turned off i have skl tmr which is very inconvebiet like tofay is yhe last day of summer holidays achually no todays sunday the holidays have ended skl is tmr my parents r mad at me and idk what to does anyone have advice ima go copy and paste it on other videos too bc i rlly need advice and pls dont say just go to the repair shop .
Thanks, that's saved an old camera :D
Seriously, thank you
Didn't work for me unfortunately, the volt decrease from 2.0V to lower than 1.0 volt in just a few seconds.
Genius idea!
I just found out batteries can go into a deep sleep if stored to long. Thanks for sharing how to wake them up.
Thank you it worked
Why can't the charger charge it when inserted into it? Wouldn't the charger be the same as using two wires?
I have a battery pack that forces electricity to the phone. Recently revived fully dead phones that were last charged 7 years ago
excellent tutorial I have been wondering about this for some time thanks
OMG!!! Your awesome. I can't believe it worked
Worked like a charm... Thank you.
Super fantastic tutorial. We were able to bring a many-years dead LG phone battery back to life. As a note, I didn't have the battery-specific charger so had to wing it with the phone adapter (connected the usb end to phone adapter and then onto outlet). Still did the trick. Really great explanation for the wire connections also. Thanks a ton!
I tried this method for days now with my LG Ultimate 2 that sat in my drawer for a long time, and it won't charge regardless of what I do. I put this battery up to 3.90 volts and it won't work regardless of what I do. I have a universal charger like you do. I even went the extra mile and bought a wireless charging pad and receiver, with another battery. At least that responds to something. But it lights up as 0% and cuts off. Won't even charge it. Is there a specific voltage it needs to be in order to make it start charging? I basically used every option up and this tutorial was my last hope.
Can I use a power bank to revive it
Yep should be ok
I tried using a power bank, but it did not work... once i switched to a wall charger it worked perfectly.
Almost 7 years later and this just helped me revive a discharged battery!
Wiorked perfectly ....thanks for help
U ARE A GOD. I just saved 2 phones with this thank you so much!!!!!!!!!
Congrats that's awesome to hear!
@@jemmrich I think both of them have just died after I tried to turn them on...
@@Ilegator gah that's annoying but this happens. It's the battery not holding enough charge or is just completely dead. Maybe try charging it for a little longer.
@@jemmrich okay, it was only one of them that died. I think the other one wasn't charging properly because I wasn't using a Samsung charger. The one that died was a Samsung Galaxy S2 which I thought was soo cool. I had charged the battery manually to 60% (with your method), but it was taking so many amps (2,5 or so). Then, I turned it on and worked properly until it froze and turned off. Now when I connect the battery it gets a bit hot on some area of the motherboard. Do you have any idea what might be wrong with it? Thanks for everything.
@@Ilegator batteries do get hot when they are going through cycles and it's good to keep an eye on them especially as they age. But I would always lean on the side the battery being an issue than the phone itself. It really depends on the state/age of the battery. This method is really just to get it up and running *temporarily*. I know for my original Samsung note the battery dies so fast and actually needs a jump again using this method which is a huge pain. I have seen very cheap and affordable replacement batteries online either through amazon but other battery-only specific companies so it might be worth looking into if you need to get the phone running again. I bought 2 batteries for $25 for my note 1. Sometimes the battery is just dead.
Broooooooooo that worked lol.
Will this work for Li-polymer batteries? (Nokia 6210 battery here)
You are amazing, THANK YOU! I tried for 15sec and it didnt work, then I tried for 2min and exactly like your video the battery came back to life :D
That's awesome thanks for sharing your success!
